Mr. Simon joined Littlejohn in 2001 and is a member of the investment committee. He has played key roles in the Clean Earth, Van Houtte, PSC Scanning, Eliokem and Jerr-Dan investments. He is currently involved in a number of private equity and distressed investments and sits on the board of directors of Brown Jordan, PlayPower, alphabroder, Cosmetic Essence and World and Main.
Mr. Simon began his career in private equity as an analyst in the financial entrepreneurs group at Smith Barney Inc. He was also an associate with Fenway Partners. He earned a B.S. in economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and an M.B.A. with honors from the Wharton School.
